  • Year 1 were ever so lucky this week and went on a special trip to Reading Museum. Our focus this half term is a painting called Children’s Games by Pieter Bruegel. It depicts a scene from 1600 with an enormous variety of games being played by children, most involving various toys. We have looked and talked about toys we play with now but have very limited access to toys from the past. Reading Museum have a toy section and toy workshops where we were able to use and explore a variety of toys we would never normally come across. The children loved exploring the museum, playing with artefacts and dressing up as children from Victorian times. The highlight of the trip was when they got to make their very own toys.1

We are three form entry school nestled within the heart of Cippenham, on the Western edge of Slough. We are one of seven schools that form The Park Federation Academy Trust. Our community is culturally diverse and rich in aspiration giving our school a family centred quality which we hugely value. Details of recent sporting competitions have been added to the 'Our School - Sports Information' section of the website. In addition photographs of the Easter Egg Decorating Competition have been added to the 'Our School - Photo Gallery' section of the website.
The link to the latest lunch menu has been uploaded to the website. To look at the menu please click on the 'Parents/Carers - School Meals' button. When you click on this link you will see that the lunch menu can now be accessed directly from the Pabulum School Meals site.
Decorate an Easter Egg Competition
The children have been given a template of an Easter egg for our 'Decorate an Egg' competition.  They can decorate the egg any way they choose, they could stick things on it, paint it, colour it or make it 3D.

If your child would like to enter the competition they need to return their entry between Monday 27th and Wednesday 29th March together with 50p to raise funds for our PTA.

There will be a prize of an Easter egg for the winner in each class.
