Calligraphy

In Modern Calligraphy Club, we learnt lots of different styles of writing, such as brush lettering, monoline lettering, as well as architectural, button  and swirly fonts.  We used brush pens with thin and thick ends to create these styles.  We practised individual letters before moving onto joining words and phrases.  At the end of the 6 weeks we designed inspirational posters using watercolour backgrounds and a variety o these styles of writing.  The children thoroughly enjoyed the club whilst socialising with their peers, and it was very therapeutic!  Their final outcomes were brilliant!
