Assemblies

Assemblies at WHA are an important feature of our school's life. We believe they are essential to a young child's all round development and have a significant influence in helping them grow into responsible adults with a well-developed sense of community. They are an excellent resource for the children to learn more about the school, how to keep themselves safe, develop their values, and provide an exciting venue for them to grow and develop into a valuable member of society and the outlying community. They learn about what their school stands for and how it can be the stepping stone to some great opportunities in life.

In our assemblies we explore:

  • Safeguarding
  • Values
  • Significant events
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Votes For School topic and weekly question.
