Federation Young Musician of the Year

Every year we host the above event and our Head Pupils – Sai and Ameeya did a fantastic job in hosting the evening. We had 2 children competing from Year 6: Marta and Areeb.

The competition is judged by external musical professionals who have worked with artists like The Gorillas and Amy Winehouse so they definitely know what they are looking for.
Areeb played a very technical piece on the piano and Marta played a very moving song on the piano and sang. The standard was extremely high, but I am delighted to share with you that Marta was the overall winner; her performance reduced many of the audience to tears.
