What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that is downloaded onto ‘terminal equipment’ (eg a computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone) when the user accesses a website. It allows the website to recognise that user’s device and store some information about the user’s preferences or past actions.

What cookies are uses on the site?
The website does not directly collect any personal information. For instance, the site does not offer the facility for users to log in with a user name or password, thus user names and passwords are not stored on the site. Similarly, on the contact page, there is no ‘Contact Form’ to complete, so no personal information is sent to the school through the website.

The website does however use Google Calendar/Search to give information regarding events that are scheduled at the school and to allow users to search the website for information. Google may set cookies when you access the calendar/search facility. For further information, you can find Google’s privacy policy here: -  www.google.com/policies/privacy

How do I turn off cookies?
Currently an ‘implied consent’ cookie policy is used, which means that we assume you are happy with the way cookies are dealt with on the website. If you are unhappy about this then most browsers allow you to turn off cookies or to customise your settings for cookies. To find out how to do this, see the ‘Help’ menu on your browser.

Please note that if you turn off cookies or change your settings, some features of may not work correctly.
